Jimi Hendrix performed at the Fillmore East in 1968, delivering electrifying sets that showcased his groundbreaking guitar work and stage presence. While Hendrix’s most famous Fillmore performances came later with Band of Gypsys in 1969-70, his 1968 shows captured his raw energy and innovation, solidifying his status as a revolutionary guitarist.
